The annual Edinburgh Festival Canival took place on Sunday 14 July on a beautiful Scottish summer day. The event organisers created an incredible spectical of costumes, dance and music in central Edinburgh's Princes Street Gardens. We were delighted to be invited back to perform for a fourth time. It was a great family day out where we proudly shared Palestinian dabke dancing, folklore, music & authentic traditional dress with an energetic crowd and wonderfully talented groups of performers representing cultures from across the globe. The junior team performed an Al Dalouna routine, as did the adults before finishing with crowd favourite, Ana Dami Falistini. We then headed to the parade, which you can read more about above! 

أقيم مهرجان أدنبره السنوي يوم الأحد 14 يوليو في يوم صيفي أسكتلندي جميل. إبتكر منظمو الحدث عرضًا رائعًا للأزياء والرقص والموسيقى في حدائق شارع الأمراء بوسط إدنبرة. لقد سعدنا بدعوتنا للعودة لأداء دبكاتنا للمرة الرابعة. لقد كان يومًا عائليًا رائعًا حيث شاركنا بكل فخر رقصات الدبكة الفلسطينية والفولكلور والموسيقى والملابس التقليدية الأصيلة مع حشد نشط ومجموعات موهوبة رائعة من الفنانين الذين يمثلون ثقافات من جميع أنحاء العالم. أجرى فريق الناشئين للدبكة عرض الدلعونة، كما فعل فريق الدبكة للكبار نفس عرض الدلعونة الذي قام به فريق الناشئين قبل أن يختتموا عروض الدبكة بدبكة آنا دمي فلسطيني، وهي المفضلة لدى الجمهور. ثم توجهنا إلى المسيرة الخاصة بالكرنفال، والتي يمكنك قراءة المزيد عنها أعلاه!
